This is a copy of Alexander Hamilton, June 2018, by Peter Gumaer Ogden, 1957- , American. Digital photograph of the antique life sized bronze statue of Alexander Hamilton, 1793, on the campus of Hamilton College, Clinton, New York. This sculpture was designed by American sculptor George Thomas Brewster, 1862-1943, and was produced by the Gorham Company and dedicated in 1918.
Alexander Hamilton was an American revolutionary, statesman and Founding Father of the United States. Hamilton was an influential interpreter and promoter of the U.S. Constitution, the founder of the Federalist Party, as well as a founder of the nation's financial system, the United States Coast Guard, and the New York Post newspaper.
