Description
This is a copy of a photo of two solid gold Chiriqui Panamanian Precolumbian warrior figures made between the 11th to 16th centuries.
The pair of Mesoamerican warriors on this gold pendant wear matching headdresses, loincloths, and wide collar necklaces. Each warrior bears a large spear throwing device and a flat-headed war club. These figures have coffee bean styled eyes, wide toothy grinning mouths with sharp carnivore like fangs, and turned up leaf shaped noses like the noses of wild bats of Central America.
Chiriquí is a province of Panama located on the western coast; it is the second most developed province in the country, after the Panamá Province. Its capital is the city of David. It has a total area of 6,490.9 km², with a population of 462,056 as of the year 2019.
The Fine Art America watermark does not appear on the final product.
