This is a copy of a drawing of a heavily carved Viking Celtic style church door fragment circa 1150 AD found at Hyllestad Saetersdaal, Norway. This drawing was published in 1910 in a book about Norse influence in Celtic Scotland by George Henderson.
Hyllestad is a municipality in the county of Vestland, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Sogn. The administrative center is the village of Hyllestad. Other villages in the municipality include Sørbøvågen and Leirvik.
