Description
This is an illustration from the traditional The Three Little Pigs folktale by British illustrator Leonard Leslie Brooke, 1862-1940, published in the 1904 edition of Three Little Pigs. In this tale there were three pigs. One had a straw house, one had a wooden house and the third had a brick house. The Big Bad Wolf managed to blow down the straw and wooden houses but not the brick one. Here is portrayed the pig with the straw house. Moral of the story: If you want to be safe from danger build a very strong house.
