Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

This is a reproduction of a color woodcut on paper titled A Mexican Coquette, 1912, by well known American illustrator Helen Hyde [1868-1919] depicting an attractive young Mexican woman with her cat picking flowers as a group of young Mexican men wearing black sombreros look on from the other side of a wall that is covered with red flowers.
Helen Hyde was an American etcher and engraver. She is best known for her color etching process and woodblock prints reflecting Japanese women and children characterizations.

I have been a visual artist since the 1960s. I'm originally from Orange County, New York, located in the Metro New York City region where I was raised on the working dairy farm [Ogden Farm] which my family founded in 1832. As a young man I spent many long hours working in gardens, crop fields, pastures and in barns with livestock. I grew up surrounded by antiques. I graduated from Bucknell University where I majored in art which included a semester in Florence studying Italian Renaissance art. After Bucknell I studied at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. I have lived throughout the U.S. [including three years in Sante Fe, New Mexico], in the Caribbean and in Mexico and Central America. I now reside in the 19th century...
