Description
This is a reproduction of a color woodcut on paper titled A Mexican Coquette, 1912, by well known American illustrator Helen Hyde [1868-1919] depicting an attractive young Mexican woman with her cat picking flowers as a group of young Mexican men wearing black sombreros look on from the other side of a wall that is covered with red flowers.
Helen Hyde was an American etcher and engraver. She is best known for her color etching process and woodblock prints reflecting Japanese women and children characterizations.
Makes a great quiceanera gift.
