Haunted Victorian Goth House, 2007, by American Peter Gumaer Ogden, 1957-. Digital photograph of a large spooky late nineteenth century abandoned Victorian house or mansion, said to be haunted, at 1109 Park Avenue, Utica, New York. By 2020 this home had become occupied and beautifully restored. The house sits atop one of the highest elevations in downtown Utica and has a spectacular thirty mile view across the Mohawk Valley to the distant Adirondack Mountains.
During the 1970s which were the worst years of Utica's economic implosion mystery horror writer Stephen King often visited Utica for inspirational material.
