Description
This is a restored copy of a vintage Arizona Santa Fe Railway 1950s promotional travel poster. The painting is by British American Don Louis Perceval, 1908-1979, a noted painter of American southwestern scenes.
The painting depicts two cowboys on horseback riding across an Arizona desert range near two giant old saguaro cactus plants.
The saguaro is a tree-like cactus species in the monotypic genus Carnegiea that can grow to be over 12 meters tall. It is native to the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, the Mexican state of Sonora, and the Whipple Mountains and Imperial County areas of California. The saguaro blossom is the state wildflower of Arizona.
The Fine Art America logo does not appear on the final product.
