Description
This is a copy of Skeleton Holding a Bone, a circa 1900 wood engraving print on paper by Mexican artist Jose Guadalupe Posada, 1851–1913.
This print image depicts a male skeleton dressed in pants, shoes, a sportscoat and a hat while he appears to perform a celebratory dance as he holds up his arms, a good sized bone in his right hand as his skull head exhibits a huge leering toothy grin. This apparently Mexican skeleton man figure appears to be running across scattered skulls while several men in the background, two wearing top hats and a third wearing a large sombrero appear to be running away in fear from the skeleton man in fear.
The Fine Art America logo does not appear on the final product.
