Description
Cheyenne Lily's Gateway to the West Saloon, Lybas Street and Monkhouse Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana, January 19, 1987, 35 mm film c-print by Peter Gumaer Ogden, 1957-, American.
This photo was created by Ogden during a 1987 cross country photo essay solo automobile trip from southern New York state to the west coast.
Pictured here is a faded and abandoned large wild west rustic vintage sign advertising Cheyenne Lily's Saloon topped by a vintage circa 1960s-1980s retro neon sign depicting a lone dancing hitchhiking cowboy wearing blue jeans, a cowboy hat, a typical western shirt and cowboy boots. Currently we find no other images or references to Cheyenne Lily's Saloon anywhere on the internet. Except for this photo Cheyenne Lily's appears to have disappeared from public records.
The Fine Art America logo does not appear on the final product.
